This information seminar will provide General Practitioners and Health Professionals with information about the medication and the management of advanced Parkinson’s treatments and Duodopa for the treatment of Parkinson’s Disease.
Guest Speaker:
Dr Dr Shoaib Dal - Neurologist & Movement Disorder Specialist
Dr Dal treats all neurology problems and has a specialised interest in Parkinson’s disease and other movements disorders, stroke and headache.
Dr Dal has attained a fellowship in various advanced device assisted therapies for Parkinson’s disease e.g. deep brain stimulation, Duodopa infusion, apomorphine, etc. He also offers a botulinum toxin injection clinic where he treats conditions including migraine, tremor, dystonia, blepharospasm, hemifacial spasm, sweating (hyperhidrosis), spasticity, hypersalivation, teeth grinding (bruxism).
He currently consults at Seaview Clinic, Wollongong Private Hospital and also is a Staff Specialist at the Wollongong Hospital.
