Built in the 1830s and steeped in nearly 200 years of crime, punishment and unrest, this former House of Correction has witnessed suffering, desperation and countless untold stories within its towering sandstone walls.

Throughout the evening, you’ll explore some of the most haunted and historically active areas of the Gaol, hear its darker stories, and take part in structured paranormal investigation sessions using specialised equipment. Shadow figures, unexplained knocks, disembodied footsteps and sudden cold spots have all been reported here — and many guests leave questioning what they thought they knew about the afterlife.
