During this current cost of living crisis, many are struggling and we want to utilise the support of our community to ensure dance and movement can remain part of young people's lives in the Bega Valley. FLING Physical Theatre is an innovative youth dance company in the heart of the Bega Valley, Djiringanj Country. We have been creating exceptional work with young people since 2001. Our mission is to inspire through the creation of original contemporary performance.

We provide broad reaching Community Engagement across the Bega Valley community. At FLING we work with artists in every stage of their career, and we are often children’s first taste of dance and performance sparking a passion that can last for life. In our programs we not only get people moving, but we build a community, helping young people build confidence, find their voice, develop skills, make friends and know that they belong. Our FLINGERS are proud, inspiring and the future leaders of our community. And together we work to develop the kind of spaces we all want to inhabit which are inclusive, progressive and culturally bold.
