World Philosophy Day celebrates the enduring value of philosophy for the development of human thought and as an everyday practice that can transform societies by stimulating intercultural dialogue.

Event Location:
This event will be held on the first floor of the Robin Hood Hotel, with lift access available.
Event Format:
During the event, you will be matched with two different participants for one-on-one conversations before concluding with informal networking with the rest of the group.
Conversation cards inspired by some of the world's most famous thinkers will be provided to help guide discussions.
Ticket Inclusions:
Your ticket includes six canapes and access to a water station.
Participants are encouraged to arrive five minutes early if they wish to purchase a drink from the additional bar located on Level 1.
Parking Options:
The Robin Hood Hotel is about a 15 minute walk from Bondi Junction Station, with direct local bus routes (including the 313, 350, 379 and 390X) stopping nearby.
Unrestricted free street parking is also available from 6pm.

How will I be matched?
Participants are automatically matched based on the information provided in the expression of interest (EOI) form Perfect Strangers. Please ensure you complete the EOI form if this is your first Perfect Strangers event.
What will I be talking about? Do I need to know anything about philosophy?
No prior knowledge is required. Conversation cards will be provided to help conversations flow. You will be able to choose which questions you feel comfortable answering with your match. Two days before the event, you will receive our Recipe for Good Conversations.
Will the event be accessible?
Level 1 of the Robin Hood Hotel is accessible by lift.
Can I register a plus one?
Plus ones have to register separately and will be matched to other participants.
