Event description
Performance Anxiety & Managing Nerves – A Workshop at WollCon, presented by Sophie Carter.
Do nerves get the better of you before a performance or presentation?
This practical and engaging workshop helps students understand the physiological and psychological responses behind performance anxiety and provides tools to manage it effectively.
Participants will:
- Learn why anxiety arises in high-pressure situations
- Discover simple techniques to regulate the nervous system in the moment
- Explore helpful self-talk strategies to reframe unhelpful thoughts
