Description

Explore the art of spoken word poetry with Matthew Pankhurst, co-director of Spoken Word SA. Through creative prompts, discussion and writing exercises, you'll develop new ways to express yourself and discover the rhythms of your own voice. The workshop concludes with an opportunity to explore performance techniques and share your work in a supportive space.

A seasoned performer, Matthew has competed in poetry slams across Adelaide, been Poet-in-Residence at Adelaide City Library, and experienced firsthand the power of poetry to make sense of a complex world.
