Phulkari Workshop - NOV 26
Description
Join me for a welcoming, hands-on Custom T-Shirt Embroidery Workshop inspired by Phulkari, where you’ll learn how to create your own wearable piece featuring a floral motif inspired by this traditional Punjabi art form.
You’ll be introduced to the rich cultural heritage of Phulkari, the traditional Punjabi art of floral embroidery, and learn about the flower motifs commonly found in its designs. Due to our limited time together, we’ll be using cross-stitch embroidery to recreate one of these prominent floral motifs on your T-shirt. You’ll then have the opportunity to customise your piece by choosing where you’d like to position your embroidered design.
This workshop is designed for small groups, with personalised guidance and regular check-ins throughout the session to ensure you feel supported at every stage. Whether you’re completely new to embroidery or looking to try something different, you’ll have the opportunity to learn at your own pace in a relaxed and welcoming environment.
Transparency note: An additional £10 fee applies for the T-shirt, which will be purchased from H&M.
