Picnic Crafternoon! Celebrate National Hamburger Day!
Event description
Crafternoon is a self-guided, themed, creative reuse craft activity with materials provided! Guests are welcome to make and take home as many creations as they would like.
Hurrah for 🍔 HAMBURGERS! 🍔 In celebration of National Hamburger Day we’re cooking up classic picnic food-themed fun! Create fantastic burgers with any fixings you can imagine, diorama scenes of your perfect picnics, all the fantastical foods you can think up! Ants not included. (Well, we might have some rubber ants around though…)
The price for this workshop starts at $10, as participants will have the chance to take home a pattern, needle/thread, and some batting to be able to continue their project after Crafternoon is over!
To reserve your spot/seats in before the event, tickets can be purchased in advance through Humanitix for a slight discount ($10 plus fees). SCRAP prioritizes access to affordable art materials and expressions, so if the ticket price poses a hardship, please select the Sliding Scale ticket type on Humanitix. If you would like to contribute to someone else's ticket in addition to your own, please select the Pay It Forward ticket type and know that your contribution helps spread access to creative reuse and creative community-making! All event ticket sales are final and non-refundable. If you cannot make it to the event, please feel free to send a friend in your place. If you are unable to do that, we still cannot refund your ticket, but you could think of your payment as supporting our SCRAPpy little creative reuse non-profit! We appreciate your support and understanding!
