Pinecones and Portals Presents: March Campfire Stories
Event description
Join the Pinecones and Portals crew for an intimate evening of storytelling and s'mores! (Suitable for humans ages 4 - 104.)
March's event features the wonderful Jonathan Kipp providing live music and the brilliant Molly Armstrong to tell us the story of Ostara and the White Hare:
Ostara is the goddess of spring who sleeps through the winter months and who brings spring when she wakes up. The White Hare brings Ostara a gift of an egg: the answer to a riddle the moon had whispered in his ear. The gift of the egg is what awakens Ostara and brings life back to the earth.
From 6:00 to 6:30 we’ll prepare to enter the Portal to Storytime by making “portal passes,” then we’ll cozy up by the campfire, and we’ll finish off the evening with s’mores.
