Event description

Join us for a spring paddock workshop on soils, pastures, livestock nutrition and parasite management, plus a free BBQ and networking with fellow landholders.

Event details:

Spring is almost here! It’s time to prepare for some of the production challenges you could face over this spring period. Join Riverina Local Land Services for an interactive day out in the paddock.

Hear from:

  • Geoff Minchin, Riverina Local Land Services: Dig deep into a soil pit and learn what to look for when profiling your soils.

  • David Coddington, Agronomist, Elders Narrandera: Feed budgeting and unlocking the full potential of your pastures.

  • Rob Inglis, Elders, Wagga: Meeting the nutritional requirements over spring and optimising containment feeding

  • Chelsea Koch, Riverina Local Land Services: Egg counts that count and using drenching tools for parasite management.

Attendees will receive free BBQ lunch provided by Elders Narrandera, as well as access to free feed tests and subsidised faecal egg count tests (eligible landholders only).

Don’t miss this opportunity to network and chat with fellow landholders.
