Join NAWIC Wellington members for a tour of the PlaceMakers Factory including Q&A with one of Placemaker’s specialist detailers
ABOUT THE TOUR
As one of the biggest suppliers to the residential construction sector, PlaceMakers is revolutionising New Zealand homes with innovative frame and truss manufacturing techniques, with a strong focus on quality.
Join Placemakers’ specialist detailer to run through the frame & truss production process, followed by a walk through of the factory. This is a good chance for trades, designers and construction management staff to understand the frame and truss manufacturing process at ground level, including how to help streamline the process! Plenty of opportunities to ask questions and talk through the detailing process and how this relates to architectural plans
DATE & TIME: 7am-8am Thursday 23rd May
VENUE: PlaceMakers Frame & Truss- 5 Beattie Close Kenepuru, Porirua
COST: FREE to NAWIC members, $10 for non-members, this event is limited to 20 people so please book your space consciously. Anyone is welcome to join NAWIC here.
BRING: PlaceMakers can supply hi vis, glasses and ear plugs, but you’re welcome to bring your own. Also bring pen & paper if you would like to take notes
