Saturday plant drawing workshops 🌿 VINC
Event description
Plant drawing sessions VINC (Victorian Indigenous Nurseries Co-op)
11am to 1pm Saturdays
Across 2025, Draw Plants Together will run plant drawing workshops in the 'propagation shed' at VINC.
Come long to draw indigenous plants of Narrm in one of the key indigenous nurseries that propagates them.
What can I expect?
- A fun and relaxed 2-hour creative session
- A feeling of well-being – notice plants more in the company of others and experiment with drawing
VINC is a not-for-profit co-operative, and has been an integral part of ecological restoration work across Narrm since 1985. VINC propagates and supplies indigenous plants to local councils and contractors, schools, community groups, landscape gardeners and members of the public.
Draw Plants Together offers friendly, inclusive plant drawing workshops for everyone that focus the indigenous plants of the Narrm area. The workshops support personal, social and ecological wellbeing in the context of Aboriginal cultural landscapes and respectful care for Country. They're also an opportunity for creativity in the company of others :)
