Plastic Free July litter clean up - London
Event description
What better way to end Plastic Free July, than protecting the ocean through a litter clean up along Regents Canal, Kings Cross.
We’ll start our morning by getting to know each other and learning a bit about plastic pollution. You’ll then collect equipment, and head off towards Primrose Hill to collect litter. To introduce a bit of healthy competition, there will be a prize for the most litter collected!
After we’ve done our part for the marine environment, we’ll sort and log the materials and recycle what we can.
Then we’ll celebrate the clean up! Enjoy a free drink, courtesy of The Hidden Sea and Dalston Lemonade Co, and connect with like-minded individuals. Stay as long as you like and make sure to bring your reusable cup!
Hosted by The Marine Diaries, in collaboration with the newly launched SOA UK.
A heartfelt thank you to The Hidden Sea and Dalston’s Soda for donating drinks for this event.
