Poetry Party: Words in Bloom

Join us for a free evening of found poetry in Mont Albert Village — a playful, meditative form of creation where poems are discovered rather than written from scratch.

You’ll flick through old magazines, cut out words and images that catch your eye, and see what emerges when you collage them together. We’ll have plenty of materials to choose from, but feel free to bring your own old magazines or texts to add to the inspiration pile!

Gently guided in the art of found poetry, you'll then have time and space to create, and an invitation to share what emerges at the end of the session.

No poetry experience necessary — just curiosity and a willingness to play.

Led by Amy Han: author, creative writing educator, and founder of Words of a Feather.

Complete your evening with a free Paint & Sip experience!

🎨 At 7pm, the celebration continues at 345 Art Creative with a free Paint & Sip event — paint your own interpretation of Claude Monet's Field of Poppies, guided by the artists of 345 Creative. Book your spot →

This free event is brought to you by Words of a Feather, 345 Art Creative, and the Mont Albert Village Association.

Light snacks provided. If you’re planning to stay on for the Paint & Sip, please bring dinner :)
