Wild Words & Open Hearts: A Garden Gathering of Poetry & Self Expression

Let’s gather, connect, express and share in this creative workshop. This is a special community outreach event to bring a sense of belonging, connection and fun in a safe and supportive environment! No experience necessary. You WILL be able to participate. Bring a mug, pen, paper and your heart.

Event Details:
IMPORTANT NOTE: We recommend arriving at 12:45pm as the gates will close at 1:00pm. Please show up ON TIME by 1:00pm so we don’t have interruptions to our connection and our process.

• REGISTRATION - Please register for the event to have a smooth check-in. Exact address will be provided through your email after registration.
• COST- $33
• BRING - Mug for cacao, notebook, and pen
  
• ENVIRONMENT: This is an outdoor space! The ground is uneven and there are wood chips/mulch. Wear good shoes. Dress for the weather. We will have cushions to sit on in the Portal of Consciousness (conversation pit).  This is a smoke free, meat free, and sober space. 
• EXPERIENCE: No experience necessary. You WILL be able to participate. 
• PARTICIPATION: Any volunteers to help set up and clean up are appreciated! Additionally, if you would like to be part of this community space, we are looking for "garden stewards" to keep the grounds looking beautiful on a regular basis. Please contact Water.
• GATHERING SPACE: We believe everyone should have access to a safe community where we can come together in a very conscious way to create the world we want. We host events at the Empower House Community Gathering Space where all people are accepted and loved. We believe when people feel safe and supported, they will naturally practice kindness, feel better, increase their motivation and focus and have a reduction in anxiety, stress and depression.

*We always welcome contributions of plants, soil, mulch and compost. Of course monetary donations are always needed and 100% goes to support the Empower House Community Space.
