Portrait Drawing Workshop

Explore the art of portraiture in this hands-on workshop run to celebrate the upcoming 2026 SALA festival 🧑‍🎨 Guided by local artists and art educators Alex Beckinsale and Caitlin Bowe, participants will develop their observational drawing skills and discover how to capture the human face using traditional drawing techniques.

This workshop is suitable for participants aged 15 and up. We invite both beginner and more experienced artists to come along, create together, and hear more about drawing processes used by local artists. The final works created during the session will be displayed alongside the artist’s SALA exhibition in the Gallery at St Peters, giving participants the exciting opportunity to see their own art in a gallery context ☺️
