Philadelphia’s DIY scene is about to meet Post-Sofia—a trio fronted by songwriter Ori Zaff, whose storytelling lyrics and intimate sound feels like an open journal set to indie rock. Joining him are bassist Stephanie Cheng, who weaves avant-garde backing lines and post-punk grit from her world-spanning influences, and drummer Mike Evans, whose alt-rock beats add a raw, dynamic edge. Post-Sofia’s debut set dives into dreamy nostalgia, tangled relationships, and existential musings, including Spotify-featured originals, debut songs, and a sprinkling of curated covers. This is indie rock with heart, thoughtfulness, and a hint of psychedelia—perfect for those craving music with both punch and poetry.
Opening the evening are sets by Lazyacres and Slighthouse.
