Postcards of the Port City: Sketching Workshop with Tessa Beale and Peter Woodward

Tessa Beale and Peter Woodward will guide you through drawing processes that help you respond to your surroundings. You'll draw from UDLA's central Fremantle balcony – with views over Cantonment Street, Market Street, and Fremantle Port – using simple techniques to observe and translate these views into postcard sketches. The focus will be on spontaneity and capturing character rather than perfection, making it suitable for beginners and experienced sketchers alike.

All materials provided, including snacks and a beverage.

The workshop will be held Sunday 18 Oct, 10.30am-12noon.

All money from ticket sales will be donated to Bush Heritage Australia
