    Event description

In this 2h session you will be introduced to the healing power of breathwork and sound.

You will be guided through a range of different forms of breathwork which will be accompanied by live sound. This will be done in a safe space and setting where participants are fully supported by the facilitator, so they can freely express what is needed to be released.

Breathwork is known to generate well-being for the human body, mind, and spirit. It can help you tap into your inner wisdom and help release stagnant energy held within. Breathing techniques are tools for major transformation and healing. Breathwork encompasses a broad range of whole-being practices and exercises used to relieve mental, physical, emotional, and inter-relational tension. As it also is a spiritual practice, breath can support you open up to source and receive messages. Breathing with intent can support states of peace, calm, clarity, and bliss.

In this session we will use the breath to activate the parasympathetic as well as the sympathetic nervous system. We will show how different types of breath can be used to either calm, relax, and nourish mind and body, or be utilized to energize the body, generate heat, and cleanse the system from old and stagnant energies.

The general intention of this workshop is for you to become present and grounded within, so you can make a connection between your breath and your state of being.

The breath journey will be accompanied by healing sound and vibration. This incorporates quartz crystal singing bowls, voice, percussion, guitar, and flute - all intended to help you drop in deeper and come out of the experience feeling held safe and gently.
