Mother Tongue brings poetry to the heart of Midland with works that speak in many languages. This one-hour program explores nurture, care, and the quiet strength of mothers through voice, music, and memory.
Expect intimate performances, lyrical storytelling, and moments that resonate long after the final line.

Featuring Asha Rajan, Natalie Damjanovich-Napoleon, Melissa Domiati, Carly Blenkhorn, and Miriam Wei Wei Lo. Five poets perform the lived experience of motherhood, from first days to empty nests.
