Step into a night of poetic celebration at the WA Poets Awards Night, part of the Perth Poetry Festival 2026. This is an evening of recognition, resonance, and readings from some of the state’s finest voices.

Surrounded by books and words in the heart of the city, join us as we honour poetic excellence and community spirit. Expect warmth, artistry, and powerful performances.

Gillian Clark – poet extraordinaire, writer, storyteller and cherished figure in WA’s poetry scene.

When the venue reaches capacity, entry will revert to one in, one out. Please arrive on time to avoid a long wait or disappointment.

Books by Festival poets will be available for purchase and signing at selected events courtesy of our official festival bookseller, Rabble Books & Games.
