Woronora Memorial Park warmly invites you to our 2024 Pregnancy and Infant Loss Memorial Service
Pregnancy and Infant Loss Remembrance Day is observed worldwide each October. It is a special day where families and their supporters can unite to remember their babies that have gone too soon.
A remembrance service will be held at Karinya Children’s Garden, Woronora Memorial Park at 4pm, Tuesday 15 October 2024.
This special event recognises all kinds of loss, including early pregnancy loss, miscarriage, stillbirth, neo-natal death, SIDS, and accidental deaths. No matter the loss, it is a day to remember those babies that have passed and to offer support to those who are grieving.
The service will include music, keynote speakers, and the lighting of a candle representing the International Wave of Light. It will allow those who have lost a little one, time to reflect, remember and honour the time that they had with them.
