Preparing for a Spring Vegetable Garden
Event description
In this workshop participants will learn all the basics they need to know to set up a vegetable garden bed from scratch. They'll also find out what to plant for the coming Spring season and what to do to ensure a great Spring crop. Learn how to improve your soil, how much sunlight your veggie patch will need and the importance of including insect-friendly flowers and herbs.
The workshop will be a mix of theory and hands on activities. Suitable for those with little or some gardening knowledge.
There's no better time to learn how to "grow your own" to help your budget stretch further.
COVID Safe Plan
MCSL has put a Covid Safe plan in place. All equipment will be sanitised before and after each workshop. Hand sanitiser and hand washing facilities will be provided.
