Primitive Fire Workshop

Few things connect us to our ancient origins more than the practice of creating fire with nothing more than two pieces of wood and our own energy and intention.  It has warmed our hearth, cooked our food & kept us safe from predators for thousands of years.  Creating fire by friction reminds us of who we are at our core. In this workshop you will not only learn the fundamental skills of creating primitive fire but you will also walk away with a deeper connection to fire and your primal Self.

What you will:

 1. Learn how to make fire by friction with a hand drill (step by step).

 2. Learn how to identify and sustainably source and harvest materials to make primitive fire.

3. Learn how to prepare the materials. 

4. Learn techniques to take home and further your fire journey

 5. Develop a deeper connection to the spirit of fire and what it has to teach you.
