Newcastle Printmakers Workshop Print Day in May
Cheryl McCoy and Gary Shinfield are dedicated Printmakers who currently live on the Central Coast. Their work is both experimental and contemporary as they push the boundaries of printmaking with their innovative printing techniques and imagination. Join us between 1pm and 3pm to hear about their printmaking journey and watch a printing demonstration.
This is a free event but numbers are limited to 30 so book your place now.
The Newcastle Printmakers Workshop is Australias longest running open access workshops, established in 1979, and provides local practicing artists, students and beginners with access to equipment and work space. There are approximately 80 members and we run a variety of workshops and exhibitions each year.
Print Day in May is an international celebration of printmaking that is held annually on the first Saturday in May. Across the globe, printmakers from over 80 countries participate and share their printmaking and processes online. Newcastle Printmakers Workshop is proud to be part of this international community and has planned a range of free experiences for the community on Saturday 3 May starting at 9:30am.
