PubTalks is a social seminar series where we hear 4x 5-minute talks from volunteer HDRs and ECRs on their research within specific themes in a low-pressure environment, followed by question time, mingling, and free food. 
This months theme is: Advanced Screening and Diagnostics!

Meet this month’s presenters:

Matt Hadden (Sydney Microscopy and Microanalysis): Cancer diagnosis and detection using advanced engineering analytical tools
Matt Waller (Dr. John and Anne Chong Functional Genomics Laboratory): Detecting the genes responsible for responding to painful stimuli
Adam Mylonas (Image X Institute): Using AI for high precision cancer targeting
Sarah Haslam (BME): Deep brain stimulation in a mouse model of Tourette syndrome
