Queer Film Heaven - Melbourne Edition (Victorian Pride Centre)
Victorian Pride Centre
St Kilda VIC, Australia
Description
One night only - uplifting queer films
18 June, 7pm
Look out for trans werewolves, lesbian coaching before a big date, outrageous set design and perfect lesbian and gay couple moments. This line-up is sure to delight.
A fun night of curated queer short films from around the world. Enjoy a selection of funny and fabulous short films you won't find on Netflix. This is a special screening that includes student films from a queer filmmaking workshop I ran earlier in the year, and these films were shot at the VPC.
Bring your friends and save with the two ticket combo offer. The films include the hilarious 'Clam Diving for Beginners', Australian short 'Billie and Jessie', and the American trans-warewolf film called 'Spookable', French film L’apprenante (The Learner) by Angelique Kalani Axelrode, which has screened at Frameline.
