In each capital city, we host our flagship annual lunches which are some of the largest events of the year. The RA annual lunches are a time to celebrate the achievements of our industry and reinforce connections.


Our speaker 

Gillian is the Chief Projects Officer of Major Projects Canberra. The position leads the procurement and delivery of the Territory’s infrastructure program. Other functions of Major Projects Canberra include contractor pre-qualification and IRE Certification, project management and reporting, superintendency of works and WHS Active Certification.

Gillian has dedicated almost 30 years to the building and infrastructure industry. She has a strong track record of leadership on major and complex infrastructure projects across multiple sectors and geographies and is passionate about enabling people to be their best as a solid foundation for high performing teams.

Gillian has recently relocated to the ACT from Newcastle and prior to this role held senior executive roles in the NSW Public Service, with Transport for NSW and NSW Health, where she led planning, development and delivery teams for a number of NSW landmark projects including Circular Quay precinct renewal, Western Harbour Tunnel and John Hunter Hospital redevelopment.

Refund policy

Booking requests submitted less than 48 hours before a Roads Australia event cannot be guaranteed unless you receive a confirmation from Roads Australia. Refund requests must be notified in writing email to events@roads.org.au Refunds requested more than 14 days prior to the event will receive a full refund less an admin fee (3.3% + 88c per ticket). Refunds requested less than 14 days prior to the event will receive a full refund less 25% of the booking total. Refunds requested less than 7 days prior to the event will receive a full refund less 50% of the booking total. Refunds requested less than 3 days prior to the event will not be eligible for a refund due to commitments made with the venue. However, substitute delegates are welcome.
