Women in Transport (WiT) is an initiative of the Federal Department of Infrastructure, Transport, Regional Development and Communications and is overseen by the National Transport Commission and Infrastructure Australia. One of the initiative’s key projects – the National Women in Transport Speaker Bureau – was officially launched at RA’s International Women’s Day industry lunch in March 2022.

RA is proud to further build on this commitment by hosting the next Women in Transport Dinner in Melbourne on Thursday, 20 October. This event will bring leaders from across our industry representing all modes of transport to explore how we can continue collaborating to support women in our industry, and build a transport sector workforce that attracts and retains a more diverse workforce for the future.
