Thank you for taking the time to express interest in Read Play Grow, we really appreciate it, and we’re glad you’re thinking of joining us.

Midvale Hub Parenting Service is funded by the Department of Communities to support parents and carers living in the local government areas of Mundaring, Swan, Bassendean and Bayswater.

All parents and caregivers are welcome, we value diversity and inclusion from all cultural backgrounds, family types, and abilities.

A staff member will give you a call 2–3 weeks before the program starts to complete a simple registration and check in with you about any questions or needs.

This six-week program Read Play Grow is designed to enhance and strengthen your parent toolkit and support your child’s early development. Through the sharing of information and ideas that can be easily implemented at home, it focuses on:

• Early brain development

• The importance of secure attachments

• Learning through play

• Healthy outcomes for children

• Reading and number fun

• Safety in the home and the community

Please Note - Each session will run for 2 hours, and both parents and children are invited to come along. Parents will spend 1.5 hours with the facilitator while children are in creche, and then for the last 30 minutes, parents and children will come together to implement fun activities and experiences to highlight the learnings from each session.

FREE to attend - registration is essential - Only 10 places available.

Creche is used every week for this program. A small fee for creche every week is require.

Crèche - Bookings essential. Places available at ‘The RISE” for a minimal fee. Please enrol at www.bayswaterrecreation.com.au... and follow the booking instructions.
