Ready. Set. Prepared. (With Solution Ideas)

Ready, Set, Prepared is a free, person-centred emergency preparedness workshop supporting people with disability, their families, friends, and support workers to be ready for any type of emergency or disaster.

Through practical activities and guided discussions, participants will explore their personal exposure, risks, and strengths, and develop their own tailored emergency action plan.

Facilitated by local experts, the session focuses on empowering participants to make informed decisions and strengthen their personal and community resilience.

This workshop brings people together to learn, connect, and prepare — because everyone deserves to feel safe and supported in an emergency.

The workshop will be held in the conference room at Quest Penrith, located on the entry level of the building. The venue is step-free throughout, allowing wheelchair users to enter directly without ramps or lifts.

Corridors and doorways are wide and accessible, providing comfortable movement for mobility aids. An accessible bathroom is located on the same level and adjacent to the conference room.
