Rebel Star

Rebel Star: A High-Voltage Tribute to David Bowie

Prepare for lift-off as Rebel Star brings the electrifying music and spirit of David Bowie to the Bornemann Theatre. Founded in San Diego in 2017 by Amanda Dickson, Rebel Star is California’s only female-led Bowie tribute band, delivering a bold, high-energy journey through Bowie’s many iconic eras.

From Ziggy Stardust to the Thin White Duke and beyond, audiences are transported into Bowie’s ever-evolving universe with dynamic performances, stellar musicianship, and an infectious sense of fun. More than a concert, Rebel Star creates an immersive glam-rock experience that celebrates Bowie’s artistry, individuality, and fearless creativity.

This debut performance promises an unforgettable night of music, spectacle, and stardust — don’t miss your chance to experience Bowie like never before.
