Event description

This training is designed for mental health providers, but anyone with an interest in the topic is welcome to attend. This course is eligible for 1.5 NBCC-approved CE credit hours for live attendance.

Upon completion of this training, participants will be able to:

  • Define relevant terms, such as "religious trauma" and "purity culture"

  • Identify at least 3 ways that religious trauma can impact sexuality / sexual desire

  • Display increased competence in addressing sexuality with religious harm survivors

  • Identify tools and activities to support clients in connecting to sexuality + desire

A recording will be available for 30 days to all who register. You must attend live and complete the NBCC-required evaluation and post-test in order to receive CE credits.
