4 Hour Breathwork Workshop - Reconnect and Recharge - Sunshine Coast

This event has passed Get tickets

Event description

Join Michelle and Cristian for a transformative and embodied journey into self love and reconnection with yourself where we explore various mindfulness modalities.

In this 4 hour workshop, you will be guided to explore the power of your breath and learn simple breathing techniques you can take home to improve the quality of your life. Our breath is the gateway to our nervous system, allowing us to move energetic blocks, past traumas and initiate deep relaxation and emotional release.

This event will be guided by Michelle Freeman and Cristian Trujillo, exploring mindfulness practices that will take you into a deep journey into your heart and soul, allowing you to let go of the old and invite the new into your life.

The session is for all levels, it's gentle but very powerful. If you have never done breathwork before, this will be the best place to start. The breathwork journey itself is no longer than 45 minutes long.

This event includes a gentle Yoga flow and a traditional Cacao Ceremony.  Ceremonial cacao is used as a way to open the heart chakra and deepen connection with community and intention.   Another layer of this journey includes the power of sound healing, inviting vibration with crystal bowls, Tibetan Singing Bowls, Shamanic drums, Native American flute and more.

    About the hosts:

    Michelle Freeman

Michelle has been teaching yoga, meditation and healing for over 12 years and is the owner of the Nambour Yoga Centre.  Her teaching is compassionate and knowledgeable, with an experiential understanding of the body after practicing yoga for over 20 years and being a Zen Thai Shiatsu therapist.   She is currently studying Clinical Exercise Physiology to deepen this understanding of the body and biomechanics.

Michelle teaches from a place of honouring each person who steps on their mat as they are, and gently guiding them into the vulnerable, joyous and sometimes confronting realms of yoga.   She believes in sharing yoga as a sound physical and embodied practice with deep spiritual resonance that can help people in their darkest times, using yoga as a tool for healing and powerful transformation.
