REFASHION - A Fashion Show Cut Differently
Event description
March is Slow Fashion Month. Wastebusters, in collaboration with Fabricate and the Wānaka Community Workshop, are proud to present:
REFASHION
a fashion show cut differently
With lineups from;
- Wastebusters second hand styling team, curating catwalk outfits from moodboards submitted by the community
- Conscious creations from the Fabricate workshop
- Local sustainable designers
We’ll be showcasing what’s possible when the clothing industry slows down and places people and planet at the heart of their practices ❤️🌏
Our actions have the power to change everything, so we’ll be starting conversations around clothing care and repair, choosing well, buying less and shopping second hand first.
Together we’re reimagining the industry and celebrating our love for clothes in ways that don’t cost the earth.
So join us for an evening of passion for slow fashion, as we refashion the clothing industry for good.
This event, as a part of Wastebusters' Slow Fashion Month, is funded by the QLDC Zero Waste District Programme.
