ReFashion Lab: Waste to Wardrobe workshop

Explore the creative potential of discarded sheets, doona covers and pillow cases, upcycling them into your own pair of relaxed fit elastic waistband pants.

This 3-hour workshop, using textiles recovered from the City of Newcastle’s Give A Sheet event, teaches a simple style of pants with pockets.

Using one or multiple sheets combined in your pants, you can choose to be understated or create a real statement!

All materials and equipment, including sewing machines, are provided.

Beginners and those more experienced with machine sewing are welcome.

Cost: Only $10 per person! (Thanks to City of Newcastle support)
