Rejuvenating Breath, Yin Yoga & Yoga Nidra Workshop #4
Event description
Honouring the Stillness of Winter
✨ Join us for a nourishing two-hour journey to replenish your body and mind as we honour the final weeks of winter and gently awaken toward spring.
Details:
🗓️ When: Saturday, 2nd August 2025, from 3.30–5.30 PM
📍 Where: 15 Kalmia Street, Ellerslie 1051
🧣 What to Bring: Cozy layers, comfortable clothing, and an open heart
As winter begins to loosen its hold, we enter a powerful time for integration, renewal, and reflection.
In Traditional Chinese Medicine, late winter still honours the water element and its connection to the kidneys and bladder, our reservoirs of life force and inner wisdom. But as the season turns, we also begin to feel the subtle stirrings of spring’s wood element, inviting vision, growth, and new energy.
This workshop is your invitation to pause, breathe deeply, and gently prepare for the shift ahead, with a sense of spaciousness, clarity, and quiet strength.
🌿 Why You’ll Love This Winter Workshop
This intentional seasonal practice will guide you through:
🌬️ Breathwork: Simple, grounding techniques to support kidney Qi, balance energy, and create warmth and spaciousness within.
🧘♀️ Yin Yoga: Long-held, deeply restorative poses designed to nourish the kidney and bladder meridians, gently open the body, and soothe the nervous system.
🛌 Yoga Nidra: A guided meditation weaving in the imagery of late winter landscapes, the slow return of light, and the inner stirrings of renewal.
