Renewable Manilla - Family Day + 100 Mile Dinner

It’s on again ! Manilla Community Renewable Energy inc. presents the annual Renewable Manilla Festival on Sat 12 April 2025.
Our aim is to celebrate our community, by creating a day where we can have fun together, sharing experiences, being creative and perhaps trying something new. This year we are presenting creative workshops and events at the Manilla Showgrounds and pavilion, followed by the spectacular 100 MiIle Dinner.
The day will begin with Selah Yoga, followed by a host of creative STEM workshops in various location in the pavilion and around the showgrounds. Most events are family friendly, some are ages 14+.
Workshops include; Local Creatures, Nature Journaling, Deep Etch Drawing, Lino printing, Music and construction of a giant bird nest.
Our events include; Namoi River Walk, Selah Yoga and Sound Meditation.
With Sustainable North West, the Pavilion be the place to be for a clothing swap - a great way to refresh your wardrobe that doesn’t cost a cent. Perhaps grab a new outfit for the evening.
At 6pm MCRE present the 100 Mile Dinner skillfully prepared by Swan Fine Foods. The 3 course meal showcases our fabulous local local beef from re-gren farmer Zoe Burke and fresh grown chemical free produce from Daniel Howlet. Where possible the 100 Mile Dinner uses producers and suppliers within 100 Mile (160km) from Manilla.
