Times: 1pm to 4pm

Volunteer with us!

The transformative power of the repair cafe movement is only made possible by the generous contributions of time and skill by our volunteers.

At Repair Cafe Hobart, we rely on both volunteer expert repairers and general volunteers who assist with the smooth operation of our repair sessions.

Are you a tinkerer? Do you have skills in repairing broken things?

If you've answered yes, please use the following link to sign up as one of our volunteer repairers:

If not, you can get involved but not as a repairer!

Join our crew of wonderful general volunteers. These people make tea and coffee, help attendees fill out forms, connect attendees with repairers, and encourage clients to ring the hand bell when a successful repair is made (easily one of the best parts of a repair cafe day!). If this sounds like something you'd want to be involved in, please fill out this short form:

We can't wait to welcome you to the team!
