Rest & Receive Yoga Experience
Description
We’ll move through a short, grounding yoga flow before settling into yin, followed by a guided self-massage using warm body oils. You’ll be gently introduced to Abhyanga, an Ayurvedic practice of self-oiling traditionally used as a nourishing ritual for the body and mind.
This is a space to rest, receive and remember what deep rest and nourishment actually feels like.
What to bring:
Comfy clothes
Pillow or yoga bolster
Blanket
Optional: You’re welcome to bring your own yoga mat, but mats will be available.
What you’ll receive:
1 hour and 45 minutes of gentle yoga and Ayurvedic practices to help you settle deeper into yourself. This includes:
Yoga Flow — a short opening flow to activate, warm and engage the body.
Yin Yoga — slow, long-held floor shapes that invite the body to release tension and the mind to settle.
Abhyanga — a nourishing Ayurvedic practice of warm oil self-massage. You’ll be gently guided through simple techniques to massage and care for your own body.
Yoga Nidra — a guided practice of deep rest, sometimes described as “yogic sleep”, where you’re invited to simply lie back and be guided.
A little vial of your own body oil to take home and continue the ritual.
Plenty of time to rest, soften and simply be.
No previous yoga or Ayurveda experience needed. Just come as you are, get comfy and let yourself be cared for.
