Reverse Applique T-shirt Workshop

A brand new workshop is here!

Join us to learn this super fun technique - machine or hand sewing reverse applique on T-shirts to create gorgeous patterns and textures. You can create your own design, or use stencils we'll have available. Over 2 days (2.5 hours each day) you'll create your design, sew fabric to the reverse side, then cut away the T-shirt fabric for the big reveal!

All materials are provided, with lots of T-shirts and fabrics to choose from. Or you can bring your own T-shirt.

Machine sewing or hand sewing experience is required for this workshop. Suitable for adults and kids over 9y.o. (with some sewing skills).

Details:

• Runs over 2 days - Wed 1st and Thurs 2nd Oct 1.30 till 4pm each day (School Holidays)

• T-shirts and fabric provided, but you may want to bring your own T-shirt to fit.

This workshop is created using circular economy principles. This means we will be using recycled and reclaimed fabrics, and haberdashery items for our sewing workshops. We are deeply passionate about diverting textile waste from landfill and we do this through upcycling.
