Riot Dykes: A screening and discussion

In celebration of lesbian lives and visibility Thorne Harbour Health is hosting a screening of Rebel Dykes, a 2021 documentary about a community of queer women in London in the 1980s and 1990s. The screening will be followed by a discussion, finger food, and time to mingle. This is the first time that Rebel Dykes (directed by Sian Williams and Harri Shanahan), which has won and been nominated for a number of film awards, has been screened in SA. The film is part of the Rebel Dykes History Project which has produced an exhibition and maintains oral histories and other archive materials
