Offerings for Earth - A devotion, a practice and a way of being

Influenced by the meditative cycles of the sun and moon, artist Bianca Yrure calls upon the act of ritual, as a process and guide, creating offerings for earth. Elements of nature have been crafted into sculptures, paintings, and photographs through the gathering and reclaiming of objects and imagery. Each becoming spiritually significant artefacts and symbols of the artist. The exhibition brings to question; What is a ritual's place in modern society? How can a ritual serve us as an act of mindfulness, remembrance and gratitude?

Please join the artist at the Opening Night to celebrate her works, which culminate her time at a residency at Eramboo Artist Environment.
