Rock n Roll Club
Event description
Rock n Roll Club is back for 2025!
The LangLangs
Many of us dream of a life of high excitement, international espionage and remorseless
shagging. The LangLangs are among the few who have the guts to actually live it. The LangLangs’ trademark sound captures the high-octane kicks you get from waking up to
find an enemy agent plunging an ice-pick into your spleen. Think Dame Joan Sutherland
fronting Motorhead - or a hybrid of the Rolling Stones and the Ramones.
Sometimes referred to as the Loverboy of Sydney indie bands, the LangLangs are happy to
take on the mantle of preening narcissists in red leather trousers.
Bob Short
Punk rocks forgotten (twas once a) boy continues his forty year campaign to bottom feed
scraps from the music industry. It's true. There have been many near misses with fame.
Tonight, in an intimate setting, Bob Short will demonstrate the noble art of snatching defeat
from the jaws of victory.
Glen & Glenda
are an acoustic folk/pop duo from Sydney. They’ve been playing local venues and small bars
across the city for the past 10 years. Glen & Glenda's original material is a mixture of folk
and acoustic pop along the lines of Nancy Sinatra, Cat Power, She and Him and Jackie
DeShannon just to name a few. They released their debut album Dupain in 2017 and their
second album Bohemia in 2022.
