Richard Weiss OLY, Founder/CEO of the Living the Dream Foundation, Founder of AthletePro, Australian Olympian ’96, 3 x World Team Member 95, 97 & 98 came to Australia in 1989 at the age of 16 fleeing the socialist regime and starting new life.
Richard will talk about his ‘Past’ - his life and sporting experiences that contributed greatly to who he is today. ‘Present’ establishment of the Living the Dream Foundation, his passion working with the children, youths and young people and the impact of such services in the community.
‘Future’ Richard believes that creating environment that greatly demonstrates culture of care, empathy, and solidarity to help the most vulnerable at-risk is only achieved through the collaboration of others. When people unite, great things happen. Richard will share his 3 key points for the future. 1. Healthy Communities 2. Expanding 3. Partnerships.
