His journey began with a Master's in Psychology from Sydney University, leading to a pivotal role as the Resident Psychologist at the notorious Parramatta Gaol at the young age of 25. During his tenure, Watson-Munro's innovative reform and rehabilitation programs not only transformed lives but also earned him widespread recognition. This eventually led to an irresistible offer from one of Melbourne's leading forensic psychiatrists to work with him, marking a turning point in his career.
