Roving Restorers Planting - Reesville
Event description
Join Hinterland Bush Links on Friday the 21st of June at Neal's place in Reesville. The Roving Restorers will be planting koala food and habitat trees to improve the quality of koala habitat and provide resources to the local koala population. This property is one of three adjoining sites located in core koala habitat that the Roving Restorers will be working on as a part of the Koala Habitat Restoration Project. Sign up now to enjoy the views, plant some trees, and contribute to restoring koala habitat on the Sunshine Coast Hinterland. Morning tea will be provided :)
Please meet at the back of the Maleny IGA Carpark at 8.00am for an 8.30am start on site.
All ages are welcome, no experience required, and all tools will be provided. There will be a 10-minute walk to the planting site across grassland. Long-sleeved shirt, trousers, closed-in shoes and hat are essential (Work Place Health and Safety Regulations). Please do not attend if you have any cold or flu symptoms.
