Event description

For too long, small and family business owners have been led to believe feelings of fear, anxiety, control, perfection, and imposter syndrome were a cost of doing business.

We're excited to be partnering with the Office of Small and Family Business and SA Woman to deliver the next workshop in our Wellbeing Mastermind Series, with a focus on how to show up authentically in your business. We like to call it messy and imperfect!

MESSY, IMPERFECT AND AUTHENTIC

Running a business can be exhausting. Constantly making decisions, and putting out fires, all whilst trying to remain true to yourself. Finding the balance can be difficult, especially in a world where we're expected to show up warts and all on social media but still retain a veneer of having it all together.

In this interactive, fun, and engaging workshop, you will connect with other business owners and explore ways to support your well-being and that of your team or employees. You will share and problem-solve as a collective while learning essential skills and strategies to protect your mental health and well-being.

Some of the things we'll explore in this workshop:

  • The mental load and how it impacts your business and life
  • How anxiety, perfectionism, and imposter syndrome impact our wellbeing
  • What 'being authentic' means and why it's the word of the decade
  • How much "real me' is too much
  • Responding Vs reacting; learning which is more powerful
  • Recognising feelings of fear, anxiety or stress
  • Practical ways to make clearer and more confident decisions
  • Practical skills to support your mental health and wellbeing
  • Where to go to seek further help and resources.

These workshops are heavily subsidised* from the Office of Small and Family Business.
