Event description

Experience the beautiful, heart-opening and healing benefits of a Cacao Ceremony that incorporates movement, music, and Shamanic Journey, to gently welcome the New Moon.

A Cacao ceremony is a ritual in which the ancient plant medicine of Cacao is used with intentions of healing, celebration, mourning, connection, offerings, guidance, changing perceptions or states of consciousness, and spiritual practice. At one point, Cacao was revered more than gold – and for good reason!

Cacao is a vibrational plant medicine, raising the frequency at which we resonate. Opening the gateway to the sacred heart space, where truth and unconditional compassion illuminate our way, Cacao assists us in releasing fear, insecurity and guilt, facilitating a deeply grounding connection to ourselves, to others, and to all that is.

A new moon is a time to start fresh, prepare intentions and ideas, with the potential for growth. I will prepare sacred space and the best quality, organic ceremonial Cacao for you to consume, while gently guiding you through the process. The ceremony encompasses opening of the Medicine Wheel, and consciously drinking ceremonial cacao that I prepare with utmost care and respect for tradition, and with the highest intention. I will then guide you through a meditation to alter your consciousness, and guide you to bring in gentle movement so you may embody the cacao, and allow healing to move through you.

I will guide you to release any trapped emotions and energy, and will slowly bring you back into stillness and guide you through a Shamanic Journey, culminating with the healing touch of Reiki.

I am trained to hold sacred Cacao Ceremony through traditional Andean methods, and I bring in my own Kejawen lineage of the lands of Java, Indonesia, while always honouring the Elders, Guardians and Custodians of the lands of Australia.
