Event description

Join us for a face-to-face workshop focused on the launch of SaCSAs Culinary Skills for Aged Care Project.

This workshop is an opportunity to connect directly with SaCSA’s Products and Projects Team and engage in collaborative discussion about the DRAFT Training Products.

Topics Covered in the new units of competency include:

  • Preparing modified-texture foods

  • Understanding nutrition for aging Australians

  • Planning menus for complex dietary requirements

  • Monitoring and tracking residents’ food intake

Participants will receive detailed information on the draft products, hear about the key changes proposed, and contribute feedback that will help ensure the training products are relevant, practical, and aligned with industry needs.

Why attend?

  • Gain early insights into the draft qualifications and supporting materials.

  • Ask questions and share your expertise directly with the development team.

  • Help shape the future of aged care food service training to better reflect the skills and capabilities required across the sector.

Your input is critical to ensuring these training products meet the needs of industry and of learners.
